🌸 Let’s Craft a Gorgeous Tissue Paper Rose Together! 🌸
Hi my lovely creatives! It’s your PaperFlower Teacher here — and today, I’m going to show you how to turn something as simple as tissue paper into a stunning pink rose! Whether you’re decorating for a wedding, adding charm to your home, or crafting a heartfelt handmade gift, this project is perfect for you!

🎨 What You’ll Need:

  • One full sheet of toilet paper (7 connected segments — no cutting needed!)
  • A small string or rubber band to tie the bottom

✂️ Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Prepare Your Petal Base
Grab a full sheet of tissue with 7 joined segments. No need to cut or tear — we’ll use it all!

2. Fold the Petals
Start at the right edge and fold a small triangle. Then, continue folding in the same direction to create a layered “mountain shape.” Think of it like folding a paper fan but diagonally!

3. Add the Rose Curl
Pinch the folded center with your left hand. With your right hand, gently twist the outer layers outward at a 90° angle to form a petal-like curve. This gives your rose a natural blooming look!

4. Repeat the Folding & Twisting
Continue folding and twisting each segment, working your way across the tissue until the whole sheet resembles curled petals.

5. Roll into a Rose
Start from the right end and slowly roll the entire sheet inward, forming the rose shape. Adjust the petals gently as you go so they fan out beautifully.

6. Secure the Base
Once your rose is formed, use a small string to tie the base firmly. This holds everything in place and gives structure to your lovely flower.

💡 Pro Tips:

  • Twist gently — too much force can tear the tissue.
  • Try using colored crepe or wrapping tissue for a more vibrant look.
  • Add a touch of watercolor or food coloring to your rose for a realistic bloom.
